Hello! I've been a massage therapist for over 20 years, working mostly in Seattle. I was lucky enough to move to Vashon in mid 2020, and am loving my life here. 
 

I trained at Brenneke School of Massage, graduating in 2003. In 2005 I completed advanced training in Structural Integration, becoming a certified practitioner in Soma bodywork. I later came to believe that the claim of Structural Integration, that it's possible to change fascia by manual pressure, is not supported by evidence, but I incorporate many of the techniques I learned in my training to further the deep relaxation of the central nervous system that I believe to be the real mechanism of effective bodywork.
